Seeing Sound

Musik: ein Zusammenspiel verschiedener Elemente. In der Animation widerspiegelt die Kettenreaktion und das Zusammenspiel der unterschiedlichen Komponenten meine Gedanken zu Musik. Mir war wichtig, dass sich alles im Takt bewegt und aufeinander abgestimmt ist. Wie bei einem Lied, das man sich immer wieder anhören kann bis man alles entdeckt hat, soll man auch in meiner Animation immer wieder auf Neues stossen. Durch diesen Auftrag der Hochschule Luzern für die Master Abschlusskonzerte konnte ich After Effects besser kennenlernen und mir entsprechend technisches Know-how aneignen.

Seeing Sound

Music: an interplay of different elements. In the animation, the chain reaction and the interaction of the different components reflect my thoughts on music. It was important to me that everything moves in sync and is coordinated. Just like a song that you can listen to repeatedly until you have discovered everything, you should always come across something new in my animation. This project, commissioned by the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts for the Master’s degree concerts, allowend me to gain deeper knowledge of After Effects and acquire the relevant technical skills.
