Stühle im Rampenlicht: Eine Interaktion aller Elemente. Durch die versetzten Textfelder der Stuhlnamen, Kurzbiografien und Massangaben bleibt der Fokus auf den Stühlen. Die verschiedenen Farben der Stühle finden sich im Cover, in der Typografie sowie im Buchbindefaden wieder, was den Fokus auf die Stühle zusätzlich verstärkt. Im Rahmen des Projekts erlernte ich das Buchbinden, das ich mit der «Drei-Loch-Knotenfadenheftung» direkt angwendet habe. Da das Projekt eines meiner ersten Layouts war, sind noch mikrotypografische Fehler zu finden. Diese entsprechen meinem damaligen Ausbildungsstand und zeigen meinen Lernprozess.

Furniture

Chair show: One designer chair on each spread. The text fields of the chair names, short biographies and measurements touch each other offset in the corners on the edge. I picked up on the different colors of the chairs in the cover, the typography and the bookbinding thread. I bound the brochure using the “three-hole pamphlet stitch”, which I learned during the project. As the project was one of my first layouts, there are still micro-typographical errors to be found. However, these do not make the project any worse for me, as they reflect my level of training at the time and are more exciting, as they reflect my learning process
